Anatomy of Movement

Learn anatomy with our accredited Anatomy of Movement online program.

Our Anatomy of Movement Series is a unique, yet comprehensive approach to teaching the movements commonly found in a gym setting.  We use an anatomical approach to break down – and build up any movement.

Which muscles are being lengthened and which muscles muscle shorten at the various joints through all phases of the lift is the first step.

Once this is determined, we call upon our knowledge garnered from individual muscle testing (length and strength testing), activation exercises, functional range of motion of protocols…and even kinesiotaping to ensure all muscles are capable of performing their role.

In the case that muscles continue to remain dysfunctional despite following our protocols, we discuss which treatments can best address the pathology.
